By installing or using clim you agree to these terms. clim is free software, published under the MIT licence, and is provided at no charge.
WHAT CLIM IS
clim is a remote control for a coding session running on your own computer. It does not provide the AI itself. Claude Code, Codex and Hermes are separate products from Anthropic, OpenAI and Nous Research respectively, governed by their own terms, and you need your own access to them. clim is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI or Nous Research.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
- Anything you send from your phone is typed into a real terminal on your computer and can change or delete files there. You are responsible for what you run.
- Keep your pairing QR code private. Anyone who scans it can control that session.
- Use clim only on computers and networks you are permitted to use.
NO WARRANTY
clim is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any claim, damages, data loss or other liability arising from the use of this software.
AVAILABILITY
The optional cloud relay is offered on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee, and may change or be withdrawn. LAN mode works without it.
PAYMENTS
clim has no paid features, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Voluntary contributions are gifts in support of the project; they buy no product, feature or guarantee, and are not refundable.
CHANGES
These terms may be updated; the date above will change. Continuing to use clim after a change means you accept it.
